What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the only infallible, authoritative and sufficient Word of God consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments (Matthew 5:18; 24:35; John 17:17; 1 Corinthians 2:7–14; 2 Timothy 3:15–17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20–21).

We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 45:5–7; Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 8:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Timothy 1:17).

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal, bodily return in power and glory (John 1:1, 14; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23, 25; Luke 1:26–35; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15; John 10:15; Romans 3:24–25; 5:8; Hebrews 10:5–14; 1 Peter 2:24; 3:18; John 20:9, 20; Romans 6:4–10; Acts 1:9–11; Hebrews 1:3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; Revelation 20).

We believe that the salvation of lost and sinful man is only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit and is absolutely essential; and that a truly saved person becomes justified by God on the basis of grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone (John 1:12–13; 3:36; Romans 3:23; 6:23; 1 Corinthians 2:14; Ephesians 1:7; 2:1–3, 8–10; 1 Peter 1:18–19; 1 John 1:8).

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (John 16:7–9; Romans 6:1–22; 8:9, 29; 2 Corinthians 3:6, 18; Ephesians 2:22; 5:18; 1 Thessalonians 4:3–4; 5:23; 1 John 2:20, 27).

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved, that those who are truly saved will be resurrected to eternal life and those who are lost will be resurrected to eternal damnation (Daniel 12:2; John 5:29; 6:39; Romans 8:10–11, 19–23; 2 Corinthians 4:14).

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Ephesians 2:11–3:6).
